Principal Investigator<\/div>\n                    \n        <!-- Social Links -->\n        \n        <!-- Description -->\n        <div class=\"gs-member-desc gs-team--scrollbar\" itemprop=\"description\"><p>Hellenic Mediterranean University (Soft Robotics \/ Wearable Robotics)<\/p>\n<p>University of West Attica<\/p>\n<p>Panagiotis Polygerinos received the B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, Heraklion, Greece, in 2006, the M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics from King\u2019s College London, London, U.K., in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) from King\u2019s College London in 2011, as a scholar of both the EPSRC and the Onassis Foundation. He subsequently joined Harvard University and Wyss Institute, Cambridge, MA, USA, as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2012 where he worked on cutting-edge research in robotics, focusing on the development of novel soft robotic systems. He is currently an Associate Professor of Soft Robotics and Mechatronics at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, Greece, and a faculty member of the Control Systems and Robotics Lab (CSRL). He specializes in the design, development, and integration of novel robotic and mechatronic systems.
